Week 4 Reflection: RISE Peer Review

Howie’s Resume

Hello Howie, I really like the first impression of your resume. I love the colors that you picked for your resume, it matches with your logo very nicely, but have you thought of keeping your resume a little bit simple? so that reader wouldn’t get distracted by your colorful design. I love how you design your experiences and skills into sections so it was very organized to see what you have done in the past and what your skills are. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s too necessary for you to include your experience as a server in your resume since communication is not the priority skills for your job.  For your education section, I suggest you putting them in order, for example putting your education at Fairleigh Dickinson University before Full Sail University since you got your Bachelor’s degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University before getting your Bachelor’s at Full Sail University. For your skills section, I suggest putting some of your skills together like your skills in Adobe Software and Microsoft Software, to me, it seems like it’s not necessary to put them separately since they belong in the same categories, I also think that you should put your abilities of using social media platforms at the end. You should re-organize your skills and abilities in the order you want you boss to pay attention at, you might want to put those skills and abilities as a creative and branding professionals first. For a resume, I’m sure your purpose is also to show people that you have gained experiences in the past and you are ready for what it takes to get the job you want, so I suggest you putting your employment and other credentials at the top so people could see clearly and know that you have to ability to take the job. Now let’s talk about your mock interview in class, I’m super impressed with how confident and calm you handle the interview.  You made me feel like you are absolutely prepared for it and you actually know a lot about the company that you want to work at. You made great eye contacts with all of us, I like that a lot because you used your eye contacts to show that you are not nervous at all and you know what you are talking about by answering all our questions. We started off with small talks in the beginning on purpose because we all knew how much you don’t like it but you handle it perfectly. Last but not least, I think you did a great job for your practice interview but I would suggest you smile a little bit more and it would be perfect! Good job Howie!

  • This question is very important to me in order to know what are the challenges that the company is facing and what the things that I can work on to help the company to move up.

  • I am looking for an answer if the challenges are something that I can help with either with event planning or other technical issues.

  • If all the above question met my exception for the company, I would really want to know what are the challenges that the company face at this stage because I love challenges and challenges are what makes me and company to move up.
